Creating a Webhook on Quantapes

Webhooks allow you to connect your TradingView alerts to your Bybit API though Quantapes, enabling automated trading execution based on your TradingView indicators. If you don’t have a tradingview account, click here.

Step 1: Navigating to the Webhooks Page

  • Click on “Webhooks” in the top menu.
  • This page allows you to manage your webhooks and view past webhook activity.
  • Each account can create up to 5 webhooks.

Step 2: Creating a New Webhook

  1. Click the “+” (Add Webhook) button.
  1. A Webhook Connection Instructions pop-up will appear.
    1. This includes a link to TradingView’s webhook guide.
  1. If you’re familiar with webhooks, agree to the Terms and Conditions and click “Confirm”.

Step 3: Configuring Your Webhook

  1. Select the API you want to connect.
  1. Enter a Webhook Name (e.g., "BTC Strategy").
  1. Choose the Base Symbol (e.g., BTC).
  1. Choose the Quote Symbol (e.g., USDT).
  1. Select the Trade Type (Spot or Futures).
  1. Click “Confirm” to proceed.

Step 4: Copying Your Webhook URL

  • After confirmation, your Webhook URL will be generated.
  • This URL is unique to your webhook and must be copied into TradingView alerts.

- Never share your API Key or Webhook URL with anyone.
- Treat them like your passwords to prevent unauthorized access.

Step 5: Using the Webhook in TradingView

  • Once you have your Webhook URL, you can paste it into TradingView alerts to automate trade execution.
